Installation, Service and Set-up of Customer Supplied Components Policy:

Full Service Bicycle reserves the right to determine the compatibility, suitability, authenticity, specification, limitation or potential safety issues of any customer supplied parts before agreeing to install, mount or service any of these parts. This includes determining correct intended use and compatibility with existing parts and condition of those parts on customer’s bicycles. Full Service may refuse to install any customer supplied parts for any reason, or refuse to accept any bicycle for service where customer has installed or misspecified parts. Additional research fees or additional labor charges may be incurred by the customer if any of the above issues affect, limit, prohibit or require removal of customer supplied parts that Full Service may agree to install for the customer. Full Service does not refund labor charges for services rendered, or provide free consultation for Internet purchases. Full Service does not provide any guarantee or labor warranty, express or implied, on any customer supplied part. Full Service does not warranty or assume any responsibility as outlined above for customer supplied parts. Thanks for your understanding. This has become an issue serious enough that we had to post this policy notice. Our goal is to provide you with the best bicycle service possible, to make sure that your bike operates correctly and safely, and we stand behind every part that we sell. If you wish to service, repair or upgrade your bicycle, please ask your bicycle mechanic about the service and parts required, we are here to help!

Rush Charges:

We don’t offer Rush Charges – We always try to get your bicycle back to you as soon as possible. We will communicate with you and try to accommodate your schedule to the best of our ability considering everything, including our existing schedule. If it’s something quick and simple, we will make it quick and simple, we will not put you at the end of a line with no completion date just because you were next. Your bicycle, and the way that it works and rides is a top priority to us. Paying us more doesn’t enable us to work faster, work extended hours without sleep or add more than 24 hours to the day. We are fast because we are experienced, trained and efficient professionals, including the way we schedule, not because we drink espresso or rush recklessly through something to get paid for it. We are very particular about the quality of the work that we do for you, we have standards that we have developed over the years. That’s why we hope you brought your bike in, and we are always happy to see everyone!

Can we finish your partially built wheel or put Humpty Dumpty back together again from your  random box of hub parts?

No. Come see us if you need wheel builds or service. There are too many issues and variables working against both of us to correctly complete and stand behind something that we didn’t spec, start and supply. Our extensive experience over the years has put us in the position we are in today, where we control the quality and specifications to deliver the best results.

Do We Work on Older Bicycles?

Sure! – If it is repairable, we would like to be able to repair it for you. So what is the best time to bring in that vintage winter restoration project that has been in the garage for 25 years? Probably not the first weeks of Spring if you would like fast turnaround on a project that requires research on vintage parts compatibility as well as extensive assessment, cleaning and repair because of the age, obscurity or lack of availability of replacement parts. We’d love to get that one, or however many you have, back to perfect operational condition and out on the road or trail again, but let’s be realistic. If it’s been in your garage or basement for years and it will require special attention, parts and work because of this, please don’t be disappointed if we can’t fit that project into our normal busy spring schedule for immediate turnaround. Call or drop by so we can plan and schedule that project and make it happen!

We’re really good at what we do, but we don’t do magic

We can fix most any bicycle that is repairable, however, we reserve the right to refuse to accept any bicycle in for service that we deem to be un-repairable, including replacement parts unavailable, components past end-of-service life and support, bicycle condition not economical to repair, damage beyond repair, and miracles out-of-stock required to attempt to repair any of the above.
